Synopsis
They set out to protect a coastline and in the process ended up creating the longest man-made wave in the world. On Mexico’s Costalegre, A Wave of Hope follows the two-year build of the first multipurpose man-made reef in the Americas: the uncertainty, the local farmer whose land supplied the stone, and the ecological rebound that followed.
